I am also subscribed to other video platforms that cost less but have much better iOS apps. I really don’t understand why the app is available in this state, Linus prides himself on quality merch and regularly complains about smaller issues in apps on the regular basis but clearly he has never used Floatplane on iOS. The app does have has casting but I have yet to get it work once. If I lock my device or switch apps there is a 50/50 chance the video will not resume and even reopening the video may just lead to an infinite buffering wheel. However, I am giving one star because the app breaks on a regular basis. There are basic features that should be here like background playback, picture and picture, and resuming a video from where you left off on the same device. I have been using this app for a while now both on iPhone and iPad, and I have to say the experience has been terrible. Major usability issues, use the website instead
